Terra is a former Army Reserve Officer. She joined the United States Army Reserves in 1984, while a junior in high school. She graduated from the University of Illinois, R.O.T.C. program in 1991. Prior to attending law school, Terra was a nursing home administrator in Vermilion County, Champaign County and Marion County. Her experience and knowledge base in the health care field gives her a solid background and invaluable insight for nursing home litigation. Terra has several years experience in family law cases involving divorce, custody, paternity and child support. Terra graduated magna cum laude from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association of Justice.
