I love Salon Pompeo. I have been going there for 2yrs and will never change. I have my colour, cut, and my extenstions done there. It is the best place I have gone and the most reasonably priced as well. I was paying almost twice what I am now for my hair and extensions for a half way descent job. Now my stylist Kristin has not only saved my hair but my sanity. By not over charging me, telling me her honest oppinion, and telling me no when I cannot do something to my hair that would hurt it. I would strongly advise anyone who has extensions to give them a call and see for yourself what a diffrence a honest and fun well trained staff can do. It really does make a diffrence in a girls life.

I think that the person who gave Salon Pompeo a bad review was at a different Salon! Honestly. Salon Pompeo has some of the best hair stylist, who are all up to date on products, styles, techniques, and options. The owner, Deanna, is fantastic, funny, and does incredible hair. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Sometimes it can be a little hectic and loud in there for older folks, but it is always fun. The products are great, and the product knowledgeable is incredible. They aren't just selling you stuff you don't need. The spa services are great, although the spa atmosphere is not as relaxing as a regular spa (e.g., Crescent, Elizabeth Arden). Salon Pompeo is also in a great location in uptown. Go there, you won't be sorry!

This was the first place I got my haircut after moving to Dallas...big mistake. The guy I saw was late and unapologetic. Half the staff was outside sitting on the steps smoking when I arrived for my appointment (unprofessional)...the cut was HORRIBLE...the products were the same ones I could have found in my local Kroger store....when he picked up the blowdryer it was as though it was the first time. I was so embarrassed by my hair I made an appointment somewhere else 2 weeks later!

Execllent salon with some of the best color work I've seen. Eclectic and vibrant uptown staff, great social hang out (alchohol for sale at the front desk). Its a great place to get a haircut on a saturday afternoon. Some of the stylists are expensive but others are moderately priced and the owner is on the floor all the time checking cuts, consulting on color, etc. Not the greatest spa but good treatments, and reasonably priced. I got the feeling customer service was a top priority. Extra long hours made it easy to get in.
i have been a loyal client of salon pompeo for years, when i found out my estitician shannon was moving i freaked. surely no one would ever be capable of doing as good of a job as her. boy was i wrong!!!!!! they have managed to bring in some one just as good if not better than shannon. let's face it a bikini wax not the most pleasent experience but natalie was awesome.
It took me a long time since I finally found a good hair dresser in this country. My hair being asian straight is not very easy to find hair dressers that know how to give a good hair cut the way I like. Finally I have found at Pompeo with DIJAE.
I highly recommend this location since I am very satisfied with the price and service.

My mother wanted to treat herself to a makeover for Mothers Day. After seeing an add for Salon Pompeo in a local magazine, she decided that they would be best for the job. Unfortunately, it was the worst! The so-called friendly and expeditious staff took over 4 hours for a simple haircut and highlights. The end product was something that looked like a mere $12 haircut salon created, not the $200+ she paid. Her hair was cut unevenly and the color was extremely unflattering.
