- BotoxErase those frown lines or crows feet without surgery! Horizontal expression lines on the forehead, frown lines and crows feet are produced by the activity of strong facial muscles. A small amount of BOTOX® Cosmetic, which is a purified toxin produced by the bacterium clostridium botulinum, is injected into the specific muscles causing the problem. This relaxes the muscles, allowing the skin lines to fade away. The BOTOX® Cosmetic effect is temporary and must be repeated to maintain the results. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a safe and effective treatment. Prior to it’s use for cosmetic purposes, BOTOX® Cosmetic has been used in the United States for more than 20 years for the medical treatment of adults and children. Tension headache sufferers often have complete elimination of their headaches after BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment of forehead expression lines. Migraine headaches may improve as well.
- Laser ResurfacingMegaPeel microdermabrasion is an FDA approved technique for use in skin rejuvenation. This procedure is sometimes referred to as the “lunch time peel” because it can be performed in less than an hour and requires no recovery period. Most return to normal activities immediately. Make-up can be applied before leaving the office after the procedure. The MegaPeel system uses controlled vacuum and pressure to move microscopically abrasive crystals over the skin surface. By repeating this process over the course of several weeks or months, the skin appears fresher, smoother and softer. Discomfort is minimal and no anesthesia is required. All skin types may be treated and the procedure is safe for use on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. MegaPeel microdermabrasion is a good choice for improvement in skin tone, some types of acne (blackheads and whiteheads), fine wrinkles, or rough skin. To remove lines and wrinkles, injectables or laser resurfacing may be necessary.
