General Info
The Montessori School of N. Dallas, founding in 1990, has one of the most modern Montessori facilities in North Dallas and Plano areas. We ensure educational quality through small class sizes, low teacher/child ratios, & close communication with parents. MSND provides a stimulating environment to help children develop the foundational habits and ideas which are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning. The Montessori experience is offered for children ages 12 months to 9 years of age.

The school is expensive for the number of days the school is open. Parent's have to ensure they have 2 weeks set aside to take care of their kids in addition to the winter break of 10-12 days. In addition, 2 year old toddlers are wearing uniforms that has to display the school's logo - an additional cost that needs to be factored. The school is not making an effort to be environmentally responsible - no paperless option for communications, excessive use of plastic bags. The school is run like a business, with no regards of children's needs. Parents are not welcomed to monitor their kids in the classroom environment without informing the teacher in the class. I would not recommend this school to a friend.

My son will be leaving because of the notorious management of this school. Last year, a large group of very good teachers left the school because they were treated badly by the owners. Many parents and kids followed them to the new school, but we had to stay because we live in the area. Good bless the teachers for doing such a good job even though they are stressed out like that. My son still has fun and likes his friends, but I don't feel comfortable seeing the tension amongst the teachers.

This is a quality school which is highly focused on Montessori education. It is a smaller school and I like that because it feels a little more family-oriented. The staff is very nice and my son enjoys his time there.
