- X-raysTo place one or more dental implant posts into your jawbone, we will use advanced imaging technology, including digital panoramic X-rays, to gauge the strength of your jawbone and the optimal placement/angles for your implants. Healing usually lasts four-to-six months, after which we can secure your dental crown, dental bridge, or denture to abutments connected to the implant posts.
- Oral Cancer Screening
- Teeth CleaningPatients should brush and floss their teeth at least twice each day at home. Even with those efforts, though, plaque may build up on your teeth and harden into tartar. When this happens, a professional cleaning is required to remove it. When you visit us for a dental cleaning, one of our skilled hygienists will carefully clean the surfaces of your teeth to remove bacteria that cause decay, cavities, gum disease, bad breath, and more.
- Space MaintainersIf not addressed early, crooked teeth may lead to misalignment in a child’s primary and permanent teeth. With adults, crooked teeth may lead to an increased risk of worn-down teeth, chips, and gum disease. With traditional orthodontic braces, we can help move crooked teeth into place, which will allow for healthier and more attractive smiles and help reduce the risk of serious dental health issues in the future. Orthodontic braces are brackets that are bonded to teeth and connected by arch wires, which gently helps move the teeth into place. We can also help preserve a child’s tooth alignment if a primary tooth is lost prematurely. Since the underlying permanent tooth and oral structures are still developing, replacing the baby tooth may not be viable. However, using a custom-designed space maintainer, a child’s remaining baby teeth will not crowd the empty space and impede the growth of the adult tooth.
- FillingsWe prefer to use safe, biocompatible tooth-composite resin to create our fillings. They blend in with your other healthy teeth and offer several advantages over metal amalgam fillings, such as being more cosmetically pleasing, creating a tighter seal against bacteria, and reducing risk for patients who may have a metal allergy.
- Resin CompositeTooth bonding uses safe, tooth-colored composite resin to cover and build up a tooth’s structure. It does not require permanent alterations to a tooth. After we bond the resin to your tooth, we will sculpt it to the correct contour, harden it, and then polish it for an eye-pleasing finish. By concealing a small portion of your tooth, bonding can address several cosmetic issues, such as severe stains or discolorations that do not respond to professional teeth-whitening treatments, chips, cracks, and gaps in the teeth.
- VeneersDental veneers are semi-translucent, custom-designed thin shells often made from porcelain that are shaped and bonded to the front surface of one or more of your teeth. They are crafted to match the color of your natural, healthy teeth. They can completely redo your smile and create a complete smile makeover with only a single, cosmetic service. Veneers can address such issues as
- CrownsThe top part of a tooth is called a crown, and a dental crown is designed to mimic the tooth that it restores. Like wearing a hat, crowns are placed over teeth that are damaged, infected, weakened, or show severe cosmetic blemishes. Crowns are custom designed from either metal, porcelain, zirconia, or a mixture of porcelain fused to metal.
- BridgesOne vital part of restorative dentistry is replacing extracted or lost teeth to help patients regain confidence in their smiles and have fully functioning bites. Dental bridges are prosthetics designed to address various degrees of tooth loss, from one missing tooth to complete tooth loss.

- Restorative DentistryHaving a bright and full smile is something many patients want. Restorative dentistry can treat cavities, chips, or damaged teeth. But sometimes, blemishes can be addressed with cosmetic dentistry services, often with little to no permanent changes to your natural tooth structure. Please click on the links below to learn more about how we can help you have a bright and shining smile.
- PulpotomyIf your child experiences infected pulp tissues in his or her primary teeth, we may recommend a pulpotomy, which involves removing and sealing an inflamed pulp chamber. It is not as extensive as a root canal treatment. A pulpotomy removes infection without compromising the development and growth of the permanent tooth underneath it.
- Root Canal TreatmentThe inside of your tooth is called the pulp. When it gets infected or inflamed, the nerves inside it may cause you discomfort. And if left untreated, the infection may spread to other parts of your mouth. To help address this issue, we may recommend a root canal treatment.

- DenturesA denture is a prosthetic dentistry option that addresses severe tooth loss in patients. It is often recommended for people who have complete tooth loss in one or both dental ridges. With dentures, patients receive the benefit of having a full and complete smile, while also helping with speech, facial appearance, and bite functioning.
- Dental ImplantsWhen periodontal disease becomes severe enough to lead to tooth loss, it destroys and weakens part of your jawbone. If you have been missing one or more teeth for several years or longer, then your jawbone may have grown weaker due to lack of stimulation. Patients who wish to receive dental implants to replace lost teeth must have an adequate amount of jawbone density or may require a jawbone graft before becoming eligible for implant placement.
- Oral SurgeryThe success of your dental treatment or oral surgery depends largely on the steps you take following your procedure. Detailed post-op instructions will be provided according to your specific needs, the treatment you receive, and special considerations that are unique to your condition.
- Tooth ExtractionsA patient’s third molars, also known as “wisdom teeth,” are highly susceptible to issues during their development and growth. This makes them one of the most frequently removed types of teeth. The reason they sometimes cause issues is because they have little room to properly erupt from the back of the dental ridge. Molars already present may impact them, pushing back against the wisdom teeth. This, in turn, may cause damage to other, nearby teeth. To address this issue, we often recommend surgical tooth extraction to remove the wisdom teeth.

- Invisalign OrthodonticsInvisalign® clear aligners are made from biocompatible plastic and are virtually invisible when worn over the teeth. Unlike traditional wire-and-bracket braces, Invisalign® consists of a series of aligners designed to guide crooked teeth into their desired positions. The aligners are not only highly discreet, but can also be removed temporarily to make brushing, flossing, eating, and drinking more comfortable and convenient. The near invisibility of the aligners is one of the more popular benefits of Invisalign®. Patients can straighten their teeth without worrying about the potential embarrassment of wearing conspicuous metal braces. Also, Invisalign® treatment is progressed by switching each aligner for the next in the series and can be accomplished with fewer visits to the dentist for the duration of treatment.

- Teeth WhiteningOur professional teeth-whitening treatment is a kit that you take home. The kit consists of form-fitting, custom-designed whitening trays that fit over your teeth. You use the trays to evenly apply the safe, professional-strength bleaching agent to your teeth while protecting it from being diluted by saliva. We can help you replenish the bleaching agent at our office when you run out and stains start to appear again.
- Cosmetic DentistryIf you have chipped or worn-down teeth, two cosmetic dentistry services may be appropriate to help restore your smile. They are called bonding and contouring, and while they are separate services, they are often performed together. They are designed to help reshape one or more of your teeth either by adding to or modifying a tooth’s enamel.
