I love Cassandra's Hair Salon. All interactions with employees have been very positive. Karlie Lester did highlights and a cut for me that totally transformed my look and I am so pleased with the results!

Not friendly, I was going to get a cut and dry and changed my mind and left. At my other place I get greeted with a smile and they offer water. Here I felt like a bother even though only one other client was there and the staff was just hanging out sitting on the counter.
My elderly mother went in for an appointment yesterday for a body perm. When she arrived to this salon, there were three stylists just sitting around. The receptionist asked each one if anyone wanted to do a perm (bad professional etiquette, btw- but at least SHE was trying to work) and all them said 'NO" !! I was appalled when my mom told me she went to another salon that same afternoon and they greeted her with courtesy and professionalism. I would NOT RECOMMEND this low-end, salon with lazy stylists to anyone.

I guess I gotta agree with the other person. I got kinda scammed as well. I asked for one particular thing, to have my roots touched up, and I got the price before going. Went in to get the service. All I have to say is I never really thought that you could get swindled at a beauty salon. I know prices do get adjusted every now and again, but overnight? A $35 change in price is kind of alot to some people, like me. But I think the stylist just charge you what they want. They definitely take advantage of you. I went there cause I thought the prices seemed good. Nope, that gal pulled a fast one on me. As an honest person, I had to pay the entire amount. They was rude, and no one would come to any type of an understanding with me. I guess I just feel more embarrassed that I got so ripped off. I don't know what to say about them except, don't go there. Or have write down the price of what they are gonna charge you. Times are hard, but stealing is just plain wrong.
I refuse to give this salon any stars, but to submit it for review, I have to give it one. I was given a price for what I wanted over the phone. I went in for my appt., etc..,, met the stylist & was very specific about what I wanted done. Once she had finished the color & rinsed it, I asked her about the cost of a gloss coating. She was very happy to tell me that including the color, I was already at $165. How did $75 highlights turn into $165. She had taken it upon herself to redye the underneath of my hair the same color it already was without asking. And she wanted to charge me. I told her that I did not ask to have that done, but she insisted that was not the case. This is not a customer friendly environment. She came to agreement that I could pay her $100, and $30 for a wet haircut. So basically I ended up paying $100 for a really bad dye job, wet and uncut hair. I would not recommend Cassandra's to anyone. No one deserves to be ripped off like that.
