I have experienced many preschools in the bay-area with my other kids and in my opinion this one is the worst. The Director who touts to be 30 years old in the business is so rude, that it makes me wonder if she should retire. She like to make personal comments on matters not concerning her.

Now about the staff. The teachers are very old most of them 50+. When I chose the school for my child I thought experience of the teachers is a positive thing but turns out for little kids it is a big -ve. The teachers do not have the energy to keep up with energetic pre-schoolers. So they brand the kid's energy as behavioral problems and send reports home. Yelling and scolding is common place, of course the director herself sets the example so how can she stop her staff!

For pre-schoolers the art projects are the most enjoyable time. However in Village Little Preschool that means kids pasting a bunch of pre-cut paper shapes. The teachers never use any paint, glitter, stickers or other decorative stuff in the class like other preschools use. May be cleanup is too much of a hassle for the old (the school likes to call them experienced :) ) teachers Ha Ha..

Wonder what does it take to revoke the licence!!

The school charges fees comparable with the other preschools but does not provide comparable facilities for the kids. So my sincere advise is to save your kids the trouble and stay away from this school.
