Very clean store with friendly and helpful employees. I like the bogo sales that they have and the rewards points program is very nice.
Winn Dixie has revamped their store. It was confusing at first because things were relocated, but they provide guides to help long-time shoppers, and new shoppers won't know the difference. The new offerings are wonderful, with organic foods, health conscious offerings, pharmacy, bargains, etc. Personnel are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store.

Provided by YP.comOver the years, my wife and I have gotten to know many of the employees, department managers, and several of the store managers. While there tends to be a high turn-over of employees, the regulars that we see daily really go out of their way to offer true customer assistance.
The pharmacy is the most professional, customer oriented pharmacy I have ever used. Melissa, Stephanie, Brook, and Debbie know almost every customer by name, and if a perscription is ready, they already have it pulled by the time we get to the counter. Whenever a new perscription is added, Melissa or Stephanie makes it a point to discuss doctor's instructions and possible side effects or drug interractions. In a few rare cases, they have held off filling a perscription until they could talk with the doctor, and at times this has resulted in a perscription change. They have also gone out of their way to assist with insurance interface. This is real professionalism, and caring about your customers. This really keeps customers coming back.
The rest of the store including cashiers, deli, dairy, fish, and meat are all truly customer oriented, and have all always given us excellent service.
I have, on occaision, heard some members of management being rather gruff with various employees. While I have not heard complaints from any of the current employees, I have often in the past heard that certain members of management are difficult to deal with, that people can't get the hours they need to make ends meet, etc. I have certainly developed the impression that Winn-Dixie is your typical "quarterly profit is everything" and "people are just a commodity to be used" corporation. I get the impression that the corporation could care less about people, at least below the board of directors level. That seems to be why store management is under such pressure, and as a result, puts the employees under a lot of pressure.
I have given four stars for the following reasons:
1. The pharmacy is really outstanding.
2. The store has hired some really quality people, and this is a good reflection on management's hiring.
3. I have held off one star because there just seems to be a tension among employees that their head is always on the chopping block.
Recommendation: If the store could be made a place that the employees consider caring and fair with them, even more of them would be truly customer oriented with a genuine smile, not a harshly demanded smile. Believe me, customers do notice the difference.
