      Athens Diagnostic and Surgical Center, located in Crawfordsville, Ind., is a part of the Athens Medical Group that was formed in 1999. The center provides a wide range of surgical and diagnostic care services. It conducts various diagnostic tests, including open magnetic resonance imaging, CT scan, ultrasound, mammography, bone density examination, general X-ray, and echo cardiography and stress testing. Athens Diagnostic and Surgical Center offers outpatient surgical services, such as hernia repair, laparoscopic cholesectomy, laparoscopic gallbladder removal, epidural steroid injections, vaginal hysterectomy, and endoscopic sinus surgery. The center also offers services that include arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries, carpal tunnel and cataract surgeries, tonsils and adnoids, breast biopsy and surgery, and colonoscopy.
