My reg. vet. was having back surgery and it was time to have my 2 kittens operated on and so went to Dr Jeff! They are reasonable priced and very up to date. We have a dog rescue in Desoto parish. We were not happy with either of the more local vets. We'd heard good things about Dr. Anderson and made the drive. Well worth it! And not a bad drive at all. He has been caring and helpful to us. He knows we are a rescue strapped for cash and he does all he can to help. The staff is wonderful, too. I had used another Dr. for my best friend, Duke a 14 yr 6 mo old Blue Heeler. Not a working heeler. They were suggested to me as I had not been real satisfied with where we had been going. They knew that Duke was not well, but still going and as I told them, I was the main problem. Duke was all I had. They never rushed me, never suggested what to do, let me feed Duke and give him treats and say my good bye and never left the room. They asked if It was what I felt needed to be done then gave me more time to think - maybe too much but they wanted me to be sure. He offered to take care of the final details if I wanted it that way. He explained everything to me and Duke was there listing. I took one more picture of my best friend, Duke with the Doctor. The Doctor then made the phone call to Duke's next best friend, Ed to tell him. When I was carried into the exam room, no other patients, it took quite a while, when I came out, several others waiting. He doesn't rush anything.
