i am in the market for a maltese right now and i would not recommend any pet store simply because they know of the business of how to sell different dogs and know little about the breeding and health care. i too visited a few stores. they may think they know but how can they if they are in the store everyday? also you are not allowed by animal regulation to have any dogs running around the store. thats what the officer told the owner of one of the stores i went to.

I just bought my little puppy at pet shop boys on Friday and I am so happy that I found this place. It was by far, the cleanest and friendliest pet shop I have ever been in. When I first arrived I saw there were dogs running free and not because they escaped, but because they were let out to run around to play with their possible new owners. They treat the dogs as they would there own. The people there were talking and cleaning as they go along so there were no foul odors that you would get from other pet shops that leave the pups in their own mess. The dogs were so happy, I got a chance to see a few owner bringing there dogs to get groomed, you can see the dogs missed them. That says a lot when the dogs miss the shop������the people there were so knowledgeable, friendly and the dogs were at a good price���.I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
