The Cortland County Department of Social Services offers day care, employment services, and public and emergency assistance programs to the residents of Cortland, N.Y. It also offers a range of family support services, including foster care, adoption, and child and adult protective services. In addition, the department offers child support and enforcement services, such as locating absent parents, establishing paternity and support orders, enforcing court orders, and collecting and disbursing payments.
