With the " G Plant " Chinese executives with that nation's largest pipe making company, TPCO, were clearly excited about the project near Gregory, a $1.1 billion enterprise that would become China's single biggest construction investment in the United States. The Plant will use the Corpus Christi Port for shipping. Corpus Christi, Texas area is growing like crazy. The Corpus Christi,Tx port is growing plus the new Schlitterbahn water park is being built. It will be built on the existing Padre Isles Golf Course and tied into a master plan for the area that includes a marina in Lake Padre, an extension of the residential canal system, hotels and condos and single-family homes on about 500 acres of mostly undeveloped land. The master plan for the area is an estimated $552 million development. I'm just waiting for Texas to adopt the High speed rail between the parks. AcE
