As a newcomer to Corpus and an avid hookah enthusiast, living across the street from such a versatile atmosphere has totally helped me integrate myself with the locals and find people of all genres to socialize with. The place is hard to miss, as red and white lights pull one from the street and into the bumping bass or smooth ambient tunes. I had no idea people chain smoked indoors here until I saw it; it smells clean and clear throughout the building. The flavours blew my mind, and the staff is as knowledgeable and accommodating as if they've smoked on a hookah since birth. The pool tables, open high Ceilings, low lights and contemporary music videos make me feel right at home. This was my first time at this hookah lounge, and based on my expeirence at the other lounge in Corpus Christi, I was skeptical of trying another. The first night I came in, I was greeted immediately by the super nice man at the counter. Turns out he was the owner, Steve. Steve took his time on explaining how his establishment was run and the pricings. He also helped me pick a flavor with a TON of suggestions. (Which wasn't easy im super picky! ) I ended up LOVING my flavor i chose. Steve was really patient with me, and I could tell he really appreciated his customers. There are fruit bowls, (apple, pineapple, orange, and watermelon) that I cant wait to try! They smell soooo good. Also, This place is HUGE. There was a VIP room, 2 pool tables, and a air hockey table. Its spacious, and a great chill enviornment. It has a nice theme throughout, and a live DJ on the weekends. Since my first day here, I've been back 8 times, and I love it EVERY single time. The hookah are prepped super fast and the servers are beyond nice. I've never ever had to ask for coals. Which is big for me. I love big clouds, and hate when my coals start getting too small . I'd definitely recommend Tropical to all my friends and a ton of thumbs up
