The owner is a the most unprofessional guy I have ever met. He is a big cheater and a crook when it comes to payment. I signed my 2 boys with him for a 6 week trial period. I made the payment for the trial period and I also paid him for my kids first yellow belt test. He told me about the fee he is going to charge for 12 months after the trial period is over. But after the six weeks trial period was over, he changed from his own words. Now he wants me to pay a different fee for 12 months which was much more than what he originally stated. When I asked him why he was changing from his own words, he didn't listen to me and started being very rude. I think, thats how he is tricking people and making more money from them. I just came to know from a friend that Shin was suppose to refund them some money but he never did. When my friend asked for their money, Shin said do whatever you can. Beware and be very cautious of his business practices.

Their OC school abruptly shut down with no warning and we are still owed a lot of money. The business owner even admitted he owed us money, told us that he would not pay us back and we'd have to take him to court to get our money. We have since won a court judgement against this business and they still will not pay us back the money owed to us. Very unprofessional. Not qualified to teach honor and respect to children when they treat loyal customers in this manner. Be cautious of their business practices!

I have been with this studio for 4 years now and the masters have been wonderful for my children. They don't just teach forms and sparring. It is about building confidence, learning how to focus, respect and so much more. My sons grades went up. The masters are very honest. If your child is not paying attention, they will tell them. If they are disrespectful, they may even have to do some pushups. But they are also complimented and praised for every moment that they do well. I love that they are learning everything in English and Korean. I always recommend this studio to my friends and people that I meet. If you are not sure, the masters usually have some type of trial to make sure that TKD is a good fit for you and your family. I:) I plan on keeping my children here for a long time>

My son attended Shin's for quite some time. The main instructor Master Suhn is wonderful. Unfortunately he doesn't own the place. My son left his sparring gear at the studio and I called Master Shin (the owner) that night to see if he found it. I continued to ask Master Shin for the next two months if anyone had turned it in. I happended to ask Master Suhn one day and he knew what bag I was talking about. He brought it to me and all that was left was my son's head gear and one glove. Apparently Master Shin decided to loan my son's gear out to other students who forgot theirs and allowed them to keep it. My son's bag was clearly marked with his name (first and last right on the front). After that, Master Shin kept insisting that I needed to buy another set for my son. I don't feel it's right that I have to put out an additional $250 for another set.

BE WARNED!!! Master Shin is not a trustworthy person. He only wants your money and your business. He does not care for his students. He took our money and would not allow our children to finish their month since we paid for that month! If you make an agreement with him, put it in writing because he likes to forget anything that does not go his way! He smiles to get you, but BE WARNED! There are many other TKD schools in the area. You would not want to deal with his type of personality!

I HIGHLY SUGGEST LOOKING ELSEWHERE. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN! HE IS DISHONEST AND HAS NO CONCEPT OF THE WORD ETHICAL.

Master shin, he displayed a group picture with many Taekwondo player in his school, Shin's A + Taekwondo Academy in Corona, and he said he was a world champion, head coach in US national team when my kid joined his school. But its not true, Please search Internet, Master Han Lee was US National Team Coach 1993-2003, and Head Coach at the Olympic Training Center 1993-2003, he is a liar, he was not US national team head coach!!!
