I have to say.. the Rodeo steakhouse and grill is out place to go tocelebrate .. it's the place we choose to go to have our date night.. the food is not only spectacular.. but the service is always beyond par.. to the people who felt unwelcome because they brought screaming babies to the restaurant and no one wanted to sit near them... learn some parenting and that will change.. I've raised my children and no.. I would not want to sit near your screaming kids.. other than that.. I love the food.. always our favorite.. I love the service!..

I had to comment on the few people that said they didn't have a very good experience, I not only eat there all the time, I have never had anything "mediocre". I find their steaks always great and tasty, plentiful servings and the service is always fantastic. I have never had anything but a superb meal. I too, would have been very appreciative to have been seated away from a unruly child. If a child can not be controlled to have manners, they should not be going into a public environment to disrupt the whole place, until they do. Sorry! Anyway, I love Rodeo Steakhouse, definitely my favorite place to go!

WOW That's what I have to say!! My husband and I were touring the coast of Oregon and just happened to stay at the Super 8 in Coos Bay OR. (the room was great) We were stoked to find the Rodeo Steakhouse about 100yds from our room. We ate peanuts at the bar, and were stoked to have our bottles of Bud Light truly ICE COLD. We were served by an awesome lady named Angelena. She was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. The way she described the Prime Rib and the amazing dessert made our mouths water right then and there. So we took her advice and ordered. OMG Not only was the Prime Rib even more succulent than she had described, ordered and served Med Rare, but it was the last serving available. (It was 9pm) How awesome to get the way we wanted it and not well done because it was the last serving. We had a great salad prior to meal and also the most AMAZING FRESH ROLLS W/ HONEY BUTTER that I have ever had. I give a 10 star rating if I could, but 5 is all they allow.

We had an office birthday lunch today and it was HORRIBLE! The bread was stale on one of the sandwiches and the other lunches we received were subpar as well. Usually you receive their famous rolls and honey butter; I guess not anymore as we didn't receive any. To top if off it costs us over $71! Needless to say we will never be back, nor will we ever recommend the restaurant. They were alot better when they first opened.

I am replying to the family that ate at Coos Bay business, feeling neglected because the waitress was seating other customers away from them because they had a child that was raising a fuss and being UN-ruley Good for the waitress, I don't feel like if you have a child fussing why should my nice dinner be ruined???"? Control your children when eating in public or leave them home or take them to places that are geared for young children.

Sorry to say we had a terrible experience at the Coos Bay location. Our large family which included a 17 month old toddler went for dinner on Sunday - total bill was over $100.00. The little guy was hungry and tired so was fussy - so he was making screeching noises. We watched the waitresses redirect customers to another area in the restaurant and would not seat anyone near us. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome so felt the need to hurry the children so we could leave - taking part of our meal in to-go boxes. We were pretty much avoided, the waitress never checked on our drinks, if our food was ok, etc. When we were leaving, I mentioned how I felt about our experience and that we would not be back, the attitude I received was "oh gee, that's too bad...have a nice day anyway". They could care less. Needless to say our experience is not one I will subject my family to every again.

Great food! From service, food and atmosphere they are exactly what the town needs. If you haven't been, it's a must try!! The food is always fresh and their prime rib is the best around!

Everything about this place was great except for the steak. Unfortunately since we didn't go out for the peanuts and mashed potatoes we left disappointed. The steaks were cooked well they were simply of a inferior quality meat that had been butchered poorly. All four steaks ordered were of varying cuts and they all suffered the same tough texture and bland freezer burnt flavor. Unfortunately Coos Bay doesn't need yet another mediocre dining establishment. If they improve the quality of their product it would be a great steak house.
