Melissa Brown, DO is a board-certified family physician. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. Dr. Brown completed her residency in family medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Brown specializes in the primary care of the entire family. She uses an integrative approach to provide preventative care and treat both acute and chronic medical conditions. Dr. Brown also practices addiction medicine using medications to support the brain as part of a comprehensive addiction treatment practice for patients with unhealthy substance use. Dr. Brown's background of working over 10 years in family medicine gives her a unique understanding of how chronic disease, including addiction, can affect an entire family.
