Make it a point to stop here! We've been trying to go here for the longest time, but usually we think of it too late and the one time we arrived early in the morning on a weekend, it was closed. This morning we finally got to experience the heavenly taste of these doughnuts. We arrived around 8 AM and there was still a good selection of goodies, although I have read that they open early at 5 or 6 and one should get there then for the best selection. The doughnuts are absolutely perfect. Super soft, super fresh and worth every calorie. We had a great selection of jelly doughnuts with powdered sugar and a delightful doughnut filled both with jelly AND white cream that was just superb. The whole experience is great. It's in a non-descript, low-key building, the wonderful bakers look like the stereotypical lovely grandmas from the old country, and it's all packaged in a tidy, plain-Jane white box. Our favorite place to go!
