      Center for Adaptive Learning is a nonprofit organization offering various programs for persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as learning disabilities, developmental delay, attention deficit disorder, Asperger's syndrome, and pervasive developmental disorders. Its programs are designed to address various physical, social, emotional and vocational needs of all patients. The center provides a curriculum designed to develop the client s capacity for individual potential, and tailors specific programs of goals and objectives, during a yearly consumer action planning process. Its programs are designed to provide the skills, training and assistance needed for the participant to gain as much self-reliance as possible. The center provides individual and group counseling, vocational counseling and training and case management services. It additionally offers art classes that use a multimedia approach, including computer graphics, clay sculpting, jewelry making, as well as drawing and painting. Center for Adaptive Learning is located in Concord, Calif.
