I took my visiting brother there for dinner and was very dissatisfied. The server only had 4 tables but could not keep up. It took awhile to be greeted by our server and after 10 min I got up and walked over to him to place a drink order. Another 10-15 to get the drinks while the bartender watched the ice melt in them 10 feet from us. The server was , and the bartender only had one bar guest and just watch the guy fail at every table. Hey... where's the teamwork!

The order took 50 minutes after placing to arrive. I ordered prime rib med rare which is simply cut from the roast and sent out, but since it sat in the back under a heat lamp for so long it was up cooked to med well so I sent it back. Weird thing was that when I placed the order I asked the waiter to make sure it does not sit under a heat lamp since he was busy... He confirmed it did anyway. So, we are an hour and a half into a meal and I am waiting on prime rib still. The manager came out and did nothing for us. He was non-apologetic and smug. I understand there are good nights and bad. The managers could have offered to take the $20 prime rib off our $130 bill. Harvey's is known to have good prime rib and it is the reason I went there 4 times, but the service was so bad that I will now do without.

For the price they charge in this small town they need to get their service under control. Repeat business and word of mouth is too important around here. Their menu is good, prices are above average but fair because the food is good. The atmosphere is nice as well. The only thing keeping them from a 0/1 star rating is lack of competition, and good tasting food.

Excellent food and service. Always top quality.
