- Root Canal TreatmentOne of the most common procedures that endodontists perform is root canal therapy. Technology has come a long way in our field, and we are happy to have several technologies at our practice that provide a modern and effective patient experience. One of these technologies is the GentleWave procedure. Through its unique mechanism of operation, it provides a deep, thorough cleaning of the tooth and better root canal treatment outcomes.
- ApicoectomyEndodontists benefit from the wide range of capabilities the Waterlase dental laser has. For instance, this laser can cut through bone or teeth for endodontic surgery, such as apicoectomy. It also has the ability to remove necrotic or inflamed pulp tissue.
- Dental ImplantsA dentist will typically recommend root canal therapy if the interior of your tooth has become infected from bacteria entering through an untreated cavity or a crack. In many cases, the only alternative you may have to root canal therapy is tooth extraction. Tooth extraction can be a viable treatment option to eliminate the infection from a tooth. Sometimes after an extraction, the neighboring teeth can move or shift. Replacement of a tooth after extraction with an implant or bridge can help to prevent movement of teeth. The average cost of an extraction and tooth replacement with an implant is approximately $4,000-$6,000 in total.
- Oral SurgeryMeagan is excited to join the amazing Apex team. She comes from an oral surgery background but is thrilled to help others learn about endodontic treatment and how best to save their natural teeth. When not in the office, Meagan enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and traveling.
- Tooth ExtractionsRoot canal therapy is a non-surgical treatment method that prevents tooth loss by removing the infected or inflamed pulp. This treatment method can stop the infection from spreading to the bone around your teeth, which can cause severe pain and sometimes lead to tooth extraction. After having root canal therapy, the discomfort and pain that you felt from the infection in your tooth will disappear as you heal.
- Teeth WhiteningDr. Jack and staff did an outstanding job in re-habing #10 tooth, by both bleaching and reconstructing the broken tooth. I'm extremely pleased with both the procedure and his detailed explanation of what would be entailed. No pain or discomfort at any point. Tooth matching was indistinguishable from surrounding teeth. Phenomenal job!! Kudos to both Dr. J. and his team - outstanding job! Thank you, sir, from one veteran to another!
