You have to hand it to the guys in the marketing department (FPI Management) of, "Affinity at Colorado Springs", located at 3755 Tutt Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80922, on this one, the place looks pretty decent on the face of it. But the cost of goods and the reality of living in this place is quite another story, they shake you down for every dime the market can stand for with a minimum amount of service to you the client. In all if I had stock in this place I would be thrilled because they have cut every corner and squeezed every inch out of the property they can. Ruthless and smart this is not a family friendly operation it is strictly a money making enterprise in every way. Mass produced fixtures that have China stamped all over them, the walls are paper thin, the floors which now under repair in this instance transmitted every step from the upstairs unit. And if you are near any of the exits you will enjoy the hard slamming of poorly cushioned doors both day and nights as residents walk their pets. And the heating was in the best tradition of the renown Motel 6 chain they even went so far as to simulate the motel 6 aroma by not maintaining the on site garbage smell was enough to make you think you had arrived at the sixth level of Hell and the boat for the river Styx was standing by. In all if you have any way to avoid these properties I would advise you to do so, the problems are already built in at this point and a resolution is not economically on the cards. But perhaps the saddest part of this whole review is the fact this chain is marketed to seniors and it is slick and darn clever at it.. Do your due diligence on this clever marketing idea gone wrong,do not take this place on face value be a wise consumer and protect the ones you love ..McDonald's learnt a expensive lesson when they added pink slime filler to their will be the tipping point or issue on this marketing scheme remains to be seen.

UPDATE...I made a review also on another review site and because I also gave a 1 star review I got a response from the acting community director asking for me to call and so I did and they weren't in and I made a mistake of trying to talk with the assistant community director and after all said and done she threatened my husband with getting a lawyer and I called back and she told me that these calls were being recorded and I don't think so, since every time that I have heard when a call is going to be recorded, it has a recording telling you are going to be recorded! But even if it was...I have a right to be upset with all that has happened to me and my health! And the sad thing is that I thought I was alone in this! I found out that I am not and I don't want this to continue for one more human being...especially when it is a SENIOR CITIZEN human being! And when they are putting money above all!PROSPECTIVE 55+ RENTERS BE WARNED!I lived at The Affinity at Colorado Springs 5/23/16 - 7/8/17 (This Review is in my opinion). It was the worst experience of my life! The Management there are the rudest I have ever dealt with (the eye rolls, the condescending conversation back at you, and then even at times when you look back you can see that their fake smile goes right off of their face). I have been a landlord for over 20 years and still am! I was told a couple of months after I lived there on a year's lease that if I don't like it then you can pay up and leave! I ended up getting very ill over the last year from being stalked and intimidated by a resident and went right away to management when it got to be dangerous! So I just waited my time out very unhappy as it cost me more money than it was worth! And they are built on the cheap! They may include internet (slow like dial-up at times), Air/Heat (Like living in a Cheap Motel 6...you have to keep getting up and adjusting it and it still doesn't adjust right), Room so cut up you can't hardly get furniture in there, So little storage, Not even a sprayer on the sink to help keep all clean, Basic Cheap as you can get White Appliances, Very Cheap Vinyl Plank Flooring, Basic DirecTV (and you can't add services), Heater (they are on the wall close to the floor and either you are too hot or too cold), Ceilings (so paper thin...you hear all) Outside Doors and Other Apt. Doors (You hear every time a door closes). If you want a very very small garage it will cost you $125.00 a month. And if you are hyped up about using the pool, theater, etc. (it is kind of like by a treadmill, it sounds like a good idea, but most don't use it. But it is a big selling point. Since I have moved 45 units have structural damage and so does some of the common areas & the SENIOR CITIZENS that live there are being displaced and their belongings 1 apt at a time over the next 6 months! And FPI Management are making Senior Citizens cry and scared (Because I know this is how I felt). They are also suppose to be having Pigeon Mite problems that I looked up and it isn't pretty! And they are intimidating others and making some pay move-in rent money back when they complained strongly about the issues stated above! These business practices are UNACCEPTABLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN MOST SENIOR'S ARE ON A FIXED INCOME OR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE HELPING and my husband and I were paying $2,350 a month for about 1,000 sq. ft. The Main Reason I Am Writing This Review is because I thought I was the only one that was being treated unfairly and intimidated! But when I started finding out about 6 months after I lived there from other SENIOR's that were even older than I was and they got the same treatment and after I moved out it is still happening! I just couldn't sit back and do nothing! I mean what it one person really gets hurt just physically? Residents in my opinion like I feel have already been hurt mentally by their actions and financially with all the money it cost to live fearful at times! Then if that all isn't bad enough they find
