Olivest Memorial Park Cemetery

Happy New Year to all the nice people at Olivet Cemetery. The park looks really nice and clean. I saw the geese are gone too! I came by yesterday for a funeral, it went very nice. The grounds keepers were very professional.

I was looking for a grave place for my parents. Right before the trip, I decided to stop by Olivet just to take a look so that I can have a comparison with the one(s) that I planned to take a look.

When I was there, I asked questions to a person who happened to a salesman. His name is Kevin Lam. I can't use any better words to comment on his services. He is honest, pays attention to customer's needs, and provides the best options to the customer. When he suggests options, he really thinks from customer's perspective, and he goes extra miles to help you.

I ended up purchasing a grave place in this memorial park rather than other memorial parks that I originally planned, and I really like the place that I chose.

My mom had prepaid for a crypt and plaque for my brother who died 4 months ago and despite numerous phone calls, messages left, I'm still getting the run around by the staff including the so called Reverend Benjamin. He actually referred me to call the vendor to see if I could speed things up? Unbelievable.
The same thing happened with my grandparents crypt. Took MONTHS to get theirs. I just reported this place to the the business bureau in the hopes of getting their help on this. BUYER BEWARE!!

When my father died I searched about 5 cemeteries in the area. I met with Rev. Benjamin, a counselor at Olivet Memorial Park and I felt like I have known him forever. The grounds are beautiful, the prices fair but the service was great!
