- Fire Alarm SystemsNick started his career in the electrical industry in 1998. From 1998 to 2000 he worked as a network installer. Duties included installation of data cables, fiber cables as well as termination, testing and certification of these systems. In September of 2000, he started as an electrical apprentice and finished his apprenticeship in May of 2005. He became a project supervisor in 2005 overseeing the General Mitchell International Airport Regulator Building and later became general foreman. Some of the projects he has worked on include the WI DOT Advance Traffic Maintenance System, Miller Park and Harley Davidson Data Center. Mr. Meyer has worked on several projects at General Mitchell International Airport such as the Structured Cabling and Paging System, the Regulator Building, the Duct bank Expansion, "C" Concourse Expansion and "C" Hammerhead Expansion. Nick is a certified fiber optic and data cabling installer. He has performed extensive work on CCTV, Security, Paging and Fire Alarm Systems. Nick's responsibilities as a General Foreman include scheduling, estimating, design/build, project coordination, and supervision. He became project manager in 2008 overseeing the Fort McCoy airfield lighting replacement. Some of the projects he has worked on include Fort McCoy Server Buildings, General Mitchell International Airport Runway Expansions and VA Milwaukee Bldg. 70 Power Standby upgrade.
