- OrthopedicsPresident and Principal Partner - Louise envisioned IHMS in the late 1990s as a way to live her passion of promoting health and preventing injuries in the workplace. After working 17 years in the profession, she had become frustrated in treating injuries that she felt could have been prevented while working for organizations that did not allow her to work to her maximum potential. Now with more than 20 years as a registered Physical Therapist, Louise specializes in industrial rehabilitation, orthopedics,fitness and manual therapy. She is well recognized as an expert in her field and is an instructor in industrial rehabilitation around the world. She is a Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist and Work Capacity Evaluator, and is contracted in the legal arena as an expert witness.
- Sports MedicineJeremy is a graduate of Keene State College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. He is a licensed Athletic Trainer bringing nearly 30 years of experience and skills with him. In addition to working in the high school and collegiate sports settings, Jeremy worked in professional sports as Head Athletic Trainer for the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) and New England Black Wolves (NLL). He specializes in identifying improper movement patterns and establishing corrective strategies to mitigate acute and chronic orthopedic issues. At IHMS, Jeremy works with the work hardening/work conditioning team and provides on-site athletic training services. Off-site Jeremy works closely with Green Mountain Power, the police departments of Burlington and South Burlington, as well as the Burlington Fire Department. Jeremy joined the IHMS team in the Fall of 2021.
- Physical TherapyAshley is a licensed Physical Therapist in the states of Vermont and New York. She graduated from the University of Vermont with both a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is also a Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist. She is currently the on-site Physical Therapist and Ergonomic Specialist for Collins Aerospace, Green Mountain Power, Teknor, and Vermont Teddy Bear. Ashley has been trained in Zero Balancing, Craniosacral Therapy, and yoga-based therapeutic exercise. Ashley has been a member of the IHMS team since 2008.
