Great place to eat. Its a nice small restaurant staff is real friendly. I was at ft Campbell for 3 years before I found this great place in piggly wiggly shopping center by gate 4. Sushi is great there fried rice is amazing everything is reasonably priced and the wait is not long at all. I would recommend anyone in the area looking for a new lunch or dinner spot to try this place only bad thing is they have weird hours 11-2 then 4-8 Monday thru Friday and Saturday is like 11-8 I think.

From the outside, one might not expect much from a Piggly Wiggly strip mall restaurant near post by gate 4. I was going to go to the burrito place in the same area and saw this tiny sign at the end of the strip mall. Sushi California. Being from Cali, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try it. Love it. The decor is simple, but pretty and clean. The chef lived in Cali and Japan for a while. They made sure that the quality of what they serve is the best for an area that is not by the sea. Fish frozen for shipment, but frozen quickly. Flavor there no nasty smell. The detail in the food and presentation is wonderful. The service was very nice. I only saw the chef and one lady waiting the tables. Be patient should it get crowded. It is well worth the wait. I've tried almost a dozen of their sushi and have nothing, but compliments. It's not Cali, but darn good for the area and it's near post. Just don't confuse it with the Jade Dragon Chinese place. It's in further from the road. My new to crave.
