I went to Wal -mart from a word of mouth recommendation. I had an eye exam and the optician was professional and thorough. I found it surely up to par with other professional opticians. My lenses were not strong and I also did not opt for bifocals or additions so the cost was very low. There was a significant misunderstanding by the waitperson in the front who seemed not exactly informed or concerned with the best of customer care.I was told the wrong information and given the wrong prices. I ultimately went to the manager of the store and all was taken care of with a reduction of the cost of the lenses. A different, courteous saleswoman did the final measures and adjustments. I will add that Wal-mart did not call me to tell me that the glasses were ready or in. I had to call to find out if they were in. The cost of new glasses at the Wal-mart is great for tight budgets and worth it, make sure you get someone who cares about your purchase. 5 stars for affordability!
