We had our roof done by Midwest Exteriors Plus in the fall of 2012.
Our sales guy, Denny was great, patient, listened to our concerns and our desire for a certain roofing material (Owens Corning) we wanted and they could offer a 50 year warranty.
They have extensive knowledge & a long history of business in the twin cities, they are the best roofing company in the area, great service, great follow through, great install crew.
Use them for your install, you'll be very happy.

Within 4 years of reroofing by Midwest Exteriors, both a long term leak and severe flooding inside a wall was found where a wall intersected with a slope. Flashing had not been replaced to divert water appropriately. When this damage occurred in April 2013, Midwest declined to inspect for 2 months. In July of 2013 a water test done by Midwest showed ongoing leaking. A licensed independent contractor inspected in July, and collaborated with Midwest on how to fix the ongoing leak and long term damage in a second spot under defective flashing. Midwest refused to acknowledge defective roofing and failure to replace flashing to divert water away from the wall. Licensed independent contractor:" If Midwest had replaced and kicked out the flashing, this damage would not have occurred". Midwest roofing lacks integrity at backing up their warranty and clearly did not know how to divert water off roof as required by reroofing codes.

Thanks to Midwest I was the first home on the block to get my house reroofed after the hail storm in early August. Dennis made sure the insurance adjuster agreed to pay for all of the work that needed to get done, got the check and had the roof done in a week!

Shopped around for quotes on attic insulation, Midwest Exteriors was the lowest bidder for the job we were looking for. We were doing this at this time for the rebates we heard the state and/or energy companies were offering. Midwest Exteriors said they'd walk us through the rebate process and that it was as simple as filling out some paperwork after the job was finished. The job ended up costing a few hundred over the initial quote (making them about the same or higher than the other companies who quoted me for a similar product/service). They didn't seal the attic hatch which was letting cold air escape into the attic. And they didn't follow up the job with an inspection from one of their field agents. All these things were agreed to, and stated that Midwest Exteriors would do in the contract and paperwork. I called them the day after they installed the insulation and asked about how we initiate the rebates, and they told me to check our energy company's website. The website stated we needed an energy audit before the work was done for us to qualify, so we were out $300 for the rebate. The reason we decided to do the insulation was because of these rebates, they stated (in the contract) they would get us the paperwork needed for it, but they failed to do so as they stated they would. I informed Midwest Exteriors about this issue and they stated they had never had any complaints about the salesman, and his story was that he told me during his initial bid that I would need an energy audit done. Which is incorrect as I learned about the audit after the job was already finished.We would not recommend using them again as they did not seem interested in taking care of us as a customer, even when I brought these issues to their attention their remedy was refunding me $2 for caulk to seal up the attic myself. And they stuck to their story that I was informed about the energy audit being necessary for the rebate. Instead of admitting to these mistakes and correcting them, they have denied any wrong doing time after time. Stay away from this company, they are just in a hurry to take your money, not provide you quality service.

We interviewed several companies before choosing Midwest to replace the roofing, siding, windows, and gutters on our home. The salesman Mark was very professional and understanding to our needs. The pricing was fair compared to the other bids we received. Midwest was on time and the workers were very professional and hard workers. MIdwest Roofing sided and roofed my cabin. the quality of the work they did was first rate. My neighbor did his project with a lower priced competitor. There job was delayed several weeks and completed with inferior quality. Every time I look at the exterior of my cabin, I am so glad I had Midwest do the job for me.
