This nail salon is a family owned and operated business, which says a lot because they treat you as one of the family. The place is friendly welcoming all walks of life, Men or women as well as children. I have been going there for years and a great relationship with Van and her Husband (The Owners). I personally this this is a top nail salon due to the reasonable prices and once those nails go on there are D#amn near impossible to get off (meaning no breaking or popping off when one is doing dishes).

This was my first visit to Fancy Nails and I received a lovely pedicure and manicure. The gentleman who provided my services is the owner (along with his wife.) With the salon now under their management, this husband and wife team is trying to build a life here in the US, having left Viet Nam because of religious persecution. I chatted with this gentleman and learned that he has completed an undergraduate and 2 masters degrees in engineering and cannot find work. He and his wife have taken out a second mortgage on their house in order to buy the salon. This is the kind of entrepreneurship that has made our country great for centuries. I had looked for a nail salon on Delhi Ave. simply because I was scheduled to attend a dance recital at the College of Mount St. Joe (also on Delhi Ave.) To my surprise, I found a good nail salon and an intriguing story from a new American citizen. Please patronize this nail salon, and help these folks build their life here in Cincinnati.

I had the worst manicure I have ever had in my life last night at this place. The nail tech rushed through the whole process, and did a very poor job of applying nail polish. She was complete at 7:45, at which point her and the other 2 emplyees put on their coats and grabbed their bags and made it clear they were waiting for me to leave. When I asked the nail tech if she thought that my nails were dry, she pressed her fingers on two of them leaving marks and then told me they were not! Then she went outside and started her car. Since my nails were already ruined I just went ahead and left shortly after. I have got to this place one other time, and did not think they did a great job that time either.

Very friiendly family business. Going to get my nails done is a pleasure.
