Great Lawn mower service and repair

I had excellent customer service, mower was fixed timely, they are trustworthy and did not charge me for a part I didn't need (and there are companies out there that would be dishonest and do this). I was in a bind to get my mower out of my car by myself when I got home and they actually were kind enough to follow me home and helped me lift the mower out of my car and such a little gesture absolutely made my day! Great customer service and I would go back for future service.

i took a 20 inch homelite chainsaw to dons - i told him it would run but would not idle

i told him i had looked at homelite iternet site for available parts and there were two kits available 1 for 9.00 and one for 12.00 so it looked like repairs would be possible i said i could buy another 20inch saw on the homelite web site for 137.00 plus 12 shipping so i did not want to spend over 80 bucks to get this fixed. don said for $ 25.00 he would look at it and give me estimate- well week goes by and he calls

i go to shop and he says $225. dollars for repairs- i ask what did you find wrong ?

he can not tell me - i ask if it is gaskets or something major - once again cannot tell me- what did i pay 25 dollars for ??

so i looked online for another Homelite repair shop and went to the tool house in sharronville - took chainsaw and with out charging a estimate fee - they fixed chainsaw for 65.00 dollars out the door - i wasted 25 bucks at dons to tell me i had a chainsaw that would not idle- and for the 225 don wanted to fix mine i could have bought another saw and had mine fixed at the tool house- moral of story - dont waste your time & money at dons

stay as far away as possible from this business. does not fix mowers. will send them back in worst shape than they started.

Does an excellent job of following up. Our mowers were picked up and delivered as promised. Every year Don's Lawn Mower Service has been dependable and professional.
