Let me start this review off with the fact I spent 20 years as an IBEW electrician. I currently own and manage multiple properties and because I am now 74 years old, I hire out all maintenance repairs & installations. Functions I normally would have done myself up until 8 years ago. My point is, I know how long and what needs to be done for repairs and installations on residences.
My mistake was I contacted Willis to install 5 new ceiling fans in a residence I own. I supplied the new fans and they would supply the fan boxes & wiring. I should have asked them for a “quote”; however, I did not!
The 1st day they DID NOT come with adequate materials and could only install (1) one ceiling fan and left for the day. They came back several days later and still did not complete the job. After several more days, they came back and completed the job. THREE trips to complete what should have been done in ONE day or less! That household was “disrupted” more that it should have been & caused scheduling problems.
I then got the invoice and found the labor charges were excessive in my opinion for the scope of this job. I contacted them and voiced my concerns; however, it fell on deaf ears. Apparently, they used this job as a “fill in”! Made me wonder what I was paying for?
I will never hire them again; however, IF you contact Willis Electric; make sure you get a quote “not to exceed” and a definite timeframe to complete the project or you also may be shocked by charges and time it takes to get something done!

A shed on my property had to be torn down in order to close on the property, and the electrical service was not disconnected properly. After an electrical fire in my backyard, an electrician was sent out and worked on it for over a day, the electric stove and the a/c were not working still. I finally called on Willis Electric and they came and saved the day! Very professional and knowledgeable, they got my stove and a/c working within 3 hours, with the help of Ameren. The shed electric had impacted the Ameren wiring. Kudos to Willis Electric for their expertise!
