WBEZ Alliance is a community-supported, noncommercial public service broadcasting institution serving Chicago and surrounding regions through WBEZ 91.5 FM Chicago. It airs various programs, including news and public affairs, music and arts, national and international programs. The radio station airs various genres of music, such as jazz, blues and world music. It also sponsors the Third Coast International Audio Festival. It offers the This American Life Program to more than 1million listeners. WBEZ Alliance broadcasts public affairs programs, and general and sports news. It also airs BBC-produced programs, cooking and health programs, such as Fresh Air and Living on Earth. It also airs radio dramas, games, comedy shows and special programs, such as Chicago Matters, Public Affairs Special Projects and StoryCorps in Chicago.
