Most of the prepared foods at Tai Ho Yee are of acceptable taste standards. But the star on the menu is certainly the roast pork. The meat is nicely seasoned (although occasionally a particular part of the meat might be a bit too salty), and the pork rind is near crispy perfection. The roast pork's per pound price is the least expensive of similar food outlets in Chinatown. On most days, the roast pork is already sold out by 12 noon. One can understand why, given the line of patrons that crowds the store before 10:30 am. The atmosphere can be loud with all its commotion.The staff is friendly and courteous, which makes the shopping experience memorable.
