Overton Chicago Gear is a founding member of the American Gear Manufacturing Association and has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. Its subsidiaries include Overton Gear, Chicago Gear, D.O. James, Balfre Gear and Franke Gear. The company s heat treatment facility provides annealing, nitriding, hardening, quench and tempering solutions. Overton Chicago Gear markets its products under the Ignition Engineering brand name.
