Angelica's is the only place I've been able to find the "original, authentic" German Chocolate cake. Most bakeries simply cover a devils food cake with German Chocolate frosting. If that's what you're use to, you must try Angelica's German Chocolate cake. This has been my favorite cake from childhood and Angelica's is the only place I've been able to find the "real thing".

If you want the best caramel cake in Chicago, you have to have angelicas. For those of you who love German Chocolate, it's excellent as well. Actually, I've tried almost all of the cakes and they are all my favorites. The service is great, staff friendly, store clean and comfortable. Try them, you won't regret it!!!
