Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center offers services in areas, including cancer, cardiology, obstetrics and emergency services. Its medical staff consists of more than 1,000 physicians in a wide array of specialties and skilled nursing staff. Illinois Masonic also has a Level I trauma center. Its cancer center staff includes medical, radiation and hematologic oncologists, as well as gynecologic oncologists. The center s staff provides psychosocial support. Its emergency center has skilled physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses on 24 hours duty. It has certified nurse midwifery programs and the technology of a perinatal center that includes a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
