Steven D. Newman, PsyD, ABPP is a licensed psychologist in Colorado and Wyoming. He received his bachelor's degree from Miami University (Ohio) in English and Psychology, and doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA in 1988. Since 2000, he has been Board-Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Newman has practiced for over 30 years in medical, rehabilitation and mental health settings, specializing in treatment of anxiety, depression and relationship problems in adolescents and adults, with emphasis on relational and cognitive-behavioral therapies. He also has experience in assessment and treatment planning for individuals with neurodevelopmental (intellectual disability, AD/HD and autism spectrum) disorders. His research interests include quality improvement and service delivery models for underserved and high-need populations.
