She earned her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University in College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Walker is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Allegheny County Medical Society. She has been named to the list of Best Doctors, Family Practice in Pittsburgh Magazine.
