      The Best Doctor Ever

      She is wonderful. She is truly a blessing, After 2 months of being over treated and no results she has saved me. She listens, is caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I am so thankful for her. She is the best doctor to go to if you are having gyn issues.

      Dr. Susan Hoffstetter is a women’s health nurse practitioner who is co-director of the Vulvar and Vaginal Disorders Specialty Center. She customizes treatment plans for women who experience pain with intercourse, lichen sclerosus, vulvodynia, recurrent vaginitis, and persistent vaginal or vulvar itching. She also provides urodynamic studies in her practice. Her research interests include vulvodynia, recurrent candidiasis, and managing lichen sclerosus with mid-potency corticosteroids. Dr. Hoffstetter is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is past chair of the board of directors of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease. An interesting fact about Dr. Hoffstetter is that she lived in Japan for five years.
