The unit s facilities include electronically controlled access, environmentally modified rooms for limited distraction and video monitoring capabilities for patients with an increased safety risk. St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital offers treatment for various functional problems, such as loss of joint movement, coordination, memory, thought processes and decision making. Its staff is comprised of a team of physicians, medical specialists, advisors and support professionals. The hospital administers rehabilitation programs for individuals with amputation, neurological disorders, multiple trauma, burns and spinal cord injury. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Chesterfield, Mo.
