Very shifty service. Told me my car was fixed and drove perfectly and when I got my car it was not driving right and brought it back and they said oh sorry we been busy and I guess he didn't test drive it and now needs more work and more money to fix it. They lie and rip you off for your money. Do not shop here

Honest fast and friendly, I send everyone there!

I brought my Nissan pathfinder here after getting a quote from the Nissan dealer for $1300 to replace a catalytic convert; no problem other than a check engine light on. Nissan ran some computer diagnostic test saying the catalytic converter was bad and collected my $100 for a test that probably took 15 minutes. Chester Muffler did a free check and took the common sense approach....they asked me if I was experiencing any problems other than the check engine light, inspected the vehicle, and reset the check engine light. They told me to come back if the light comes on again and they would troubleshoot the problem. They are honest, good people!

I've been going to this shop since they opened years (at least 15) ago. Yes, they did have a dog - he was a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier that greeted everybody with a wag of his tail and lick on the hand. Unfortunately, he's gone now. The owner has always been friendly and accommodating and I've never have to worry about being ripped off because I am a woman. One of the few automotive shops out there that you can trust.

Very poor customer service. When you walk in the shop the owner doesnt even bother to greet you or make any decent eye contact. Have dogs on the premises (roaming free) with a nice Beware of Dog sign on the front door. If I am going to spend hard earned money on my car I expect 100% outstanding customer service especially from the owner. Wouldnt take a car there even if it needed towing and the next shop was 3 miles down the road. Lousy shop.
