Established in 1873, Polly's Country Market is a family-owned chain of grocery stores. It operates more than 10 stores under various banners, such as Polly s, Country Markets and Save-A-Lot. Its stores sell meat, cheese, prepared salad, fruit, vegetables, party trays, gifts, novelties, beer, wines and champagne. Its deli department offers gourmet food, pasta, salad, sliced cheese, snacks and various dishes made of chicken, pork and beef. The department sells Grandma s Original Recipes, Leons Homemade Foods, Melch s Original Amish Recipes and Boar's Head meats and cheese. It also offers catering services for formal and informal gatherings. Some of its stores feature pharmacies and seafood road shows. Polly's Country Market has locations in Jackson, Chelsea, Dexter, Brooklyn, Saline and Adrian, Mich.
