Established in 1913, MetzWood Insurance is a 4th-generation family business that serves the insurance needs of thousands of individuals, families, and businesses in Columbia County, New York and surrounding areas. In 2014, MetzWood Insurance was voted the Best Insurance Agency in Columbia County. Our success and reputation are built on personal service, extensive insurance industry expertise, and an unwavering focus on doing things "the right way." MetzWood is a team comprised of dedicated, professional, and caring individuals. Our 19 employees have an average tenure of 14 years with MetzWood and over 21 year of experience in the Insurance Industry. Many of our team members and partners have earned Insurance Industry Designations, acquiring knowledge and expertise above and beyond the requirements of other "licensed agents." In addition to our competitively priced insurance products and commitment to professional service, MetzWood believes in giving back to our communities.
