      Started specialized janitorial company in 1984 just a few years out of high school. Was among the first to introduce innovative methods of hard surface maintenance. Assisted many other aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their own successful small businesses. Tackled many challenges during 28 years of self-employment by learning to diversify our services. Building services and maintenance has led to acquiring a Construction Supervisors license, a pesticide applicators license, and certificates for Residential and Commercial Mold Inspection, and Mold Remediation services. Current goals include growing an urgent service -- infection prevention/cleaning for health by offering the best environmentally safe products with the most advanced equipment available.       microGARD applies an antimicrobial that forms a colorless, odorless positively charged polymer, which chemically bonds to the treated surface. You can think of it as a layer of microscopic swords or a bed of nails protecting the surface. When an organism comes in contact with the treated surface, the quaternary amine sword punctures the cell membrane and the electrical charge shocks the cell, effectively killing the microorganism. Since nothing is transferred to the now dead cell, the antimicrobial does not lose strength and the sword is ready for the next cell to contact it. Normal cleaning of treated surfaces is necessary to prevent buildup of dirt, dead microbes, etc. which would cover the treatment.
