      General Info
      Founded in 1982, Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Centers is a nonprofit organization that provides services and opportunities to individuals above the age of 55 and their families. Located in Charlotte, N.C., the center offers a variety of educational and recreational opportunities. It supports health and wellness programs that include monthly health screenings, exercise classes, personal training, nutrition counseling, muscle strengthening and massage therapy. Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Centers also supports a multicultural program that includes the components related to arts and crafts, employment, volunteer opportunities and citizenship. The center is a place for conducting dance, computer, music and language classes. It organizes several day trips, as well as operates various groups and clubs.
