- Oral Cancer ScreeningLaxer, Long and Savage was honored to sponsor a fun, challenging, family-friendly neighborhood race (5K and 10K) through Baxter Village in Fort Mill, SC. Free oral cancer screenings were provided along with lots of fun for this worthy cause.
- Dental SealantsSealants are a safe protective coating placed on the biting surface of the molars to prevent cavities. They are normally placed on permanent molars, though in some situations your pediatric dentist may recommend them for baby teeth as well.
- CrownsTime is critical in the case of a lost permanent tooth. Call our office as quickly as possible and see a dentist immediately! If you are able to find the tooth, handle it by the top (crown), not the root. Rinse it gently, but do not clean or handle unnecessarily. Try to reinsert the tooth into its socket and have your child hold it in place by biting on a clean gauze or cloth. If you cannot reinsert the tooth, place it in a cup of milk or water for transport to your dentist.
