After suffering for years from chronic severe dry eye syndrome Dr. Grayson inserted duct plugs. This simple 2 minute procedure decreased my dry eye symptoms by 70%. No longer am I a slave to eye drops. AMAZING!!
I had my surgery several years ago - I went from legally blind to almost 20-20 over night!. I wear reading glasses to do very fine work, like jewelry repair or hand sewing, but I bought them at the drugstore for $4.00! I figure that the surgery has paid for itself and saved me several thousand dollars that I didn't have to spend on eyeglasses and exams. In addition to restoring my sight, Dr. Grayson and his staff made me feel like I was their most important patient - and still do! This is an outstanding practice, both in quality of care and value for your money.

I visited Genesis Eye Center and it will be my last time going there. I waited for 45 minutes to have my scheduled appointment and was put back into the waiting room for another 15 mintues after my eye exam. Galen Grayson saw me next and was very unprofessional. He talked bad about his co-worker and made me feel uncomfortable. These issues shouldn't be mentioned or even discussed with a patient. Nonetheless, he did several things that were unprofessional. While waiting in the lobby you could hear him shouting to his patients about their glaucoma, eye exam, whatever they came in for that day. There is no confidentiality in that office. Go somewhere else!
First of all, Dr. Grayson and his staff are GREAT! My farsightedness was pretty bad; I couldn't see road signs without glasses/contacts. The morning after my surgery I was reading from the 20/15 line. The procedure is a little uncomfortable, but totally worth it. After the procedure I took a nap and when I woke up, it was amazing! It's been over a year and I can see better than ever! : ) Jackie Woodie - Millers Creek, NC
