Kanawha County Public Library is one of the largest public library systems in West Virginia. It serves the residents of Kanawha and Putnam counties in West Virginia and has more than 100,000 card holders. The library has a collection of over 600,000 items, including books, videos, CDs and DVDs. Kanawha County Public Library system operates nine locations. It offers free library services to the public. The library s Bookmobile section serves the rural areas of the county.
