Dr. Kalinsky is board certified in lower extremity surgery specializing in the evaluation and treatment of foot conditions. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, from the College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a member, past vice president, president and executive board member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association. In addition, he is the past chairman of the South Carolina Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. Currently, Dr. Kalinsky is the chief of podiatry for both Roper and St. Francis Hospitals and serves on the medical executive committee for the James Island Surgery Center. Dr. Kalinsky treats foot and ankle injuries and issues such as ingrown toenails, calluses, fallen arches, bunions, hammer toe, heel pain and spurs, deformities of the feet, problems related to diabetes and sports-related injuries.
