We create artist birthday parties for girls ages 6 9.

General Info

The class structure: each child will create 2 9X12 paintings in mixed media format. We will USE acrylic paint. Watercolors. Glue. Collage paper and stencils to design ONE of a kind creations straight from the child's imagination. I give step by step instructions but the children are Also allowed to create AS their hearts desire. This program was developed by ME and taps into pattern making. Color mixing. Layering and INDIVIDUALITY. What size party will this work for? i would recommend the party attendance range between 4 to 8 GIRLS WHO are the parties geared TOWARD? I specialize in teaching 6 to 9 year OLD girls with the themes I have developed but I AM open to discussing other themes for OLDER/YOUNGER CHILDREN. WHAT does a birthday party look LIKE? JOSEY'S ART school is a MOTHER/DAUGHTER artist collaboration offering ART parties and birthday parties for girls AGE 6-9. OUR classes come to your home or group outing or CAN BE scheduled in designated areas through mesa. Gilbert and Chandler arizona. We Bring ALL ART supplies to your home including tables (chairs for an additional FEE). YOU pick a theme for the party. We SET UP and teach an ART class that runs approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. I AM definitely open to teaching BOY/GIRL parties or parties geared for boys. We would just need to discuss a theme that would allow for an enjoyable experience for ALL PARTICIPANTS. What if I don't want to have the party in MY home? i have connections with community centers and REC centers in the Chandler area that will accommodate ART classes for an additional FEE. I AM Also open to exploring other venues in mesa. Gilbert and Chandler AZ. WHAT areas DO YOU offer your services TO? CHANDLER. Mesa and Gilbert Arizona. We could discuss outer lying areas for a trip FEE WHAT'S unique about OUR PARTIES? YOU are probably wondering WHY each child creates 2 paintings. TWO reasons ACTUALLY. FIRST thing is the mixed media process has to allow for drying time between the layers. This SET UP allows for the child to work on ONE piece of ART while the other is DRYING. SECOND reason is ONE that is dear to MY heart. We would love the girls to USE their ART to BE an encouragement to someone else. SO they have the option to keep ONE and give ONE away to someone. It could BE a sibling or a Family member or someone they know that is having a BAD DAY and needs a little cheering UP. I believe with MY whole heart that ART is healing NOT only to the creator but to the recipient.
